Observations

1. Why does Youtube just not work sometimes?

2. I almost saw my first major crime committed before my eyes last weekend. A white Mitsubishi rolled up real hard; two furious punks jumped out carrying bats. They stormed the 7-11 I was standing in front of. Searched. Didn’t find the mark, ran back out, jumped in, peeled off. Hectic.

3. I am prejudiced against people who can’t swim.

4. LBJ’s 48 in Game 2 looked like a pro playing in a rec-league tourney.

5. If you consider yourself a developed country, you must stop rampant littering.

6. Jack Johnson is still an underrated musician, I just hope he gets depressed and political again. He ranks right up there with Sublime and Bob for sunny days.

7. The guy I buy fried sandwiches from is Hugo Chavez’s twin brother.

8. Absolutely screaming your lungs out is extremely liberating. As is spending an afternoon in a warm rain.

9. From today’s NYTimes : “It is extraordinary,” said Samantha Power, a professor at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard. “The fact that Darfur is even on the policy map along with Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, North Korea, global warming, the fact that Darfur merits an 8 a.m. statement by the president, is testament to one thing and one thing alone, and that is this movement.” This is a positive step. The ensuing argument centered around the politicization of humanitarian aid is something I have written and researched before.

10. Losing your cellphone after a long fulfilling day at the beach is up there on the Ball Kicker All-Star list.
